Kristen gained a combined degree in Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tasmania in 1997 and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania and High Court in 1999.

Kristen has experience in several areas of law and has an emphasis on:

• Property Law
• Conveyancing
• Commerical Law (including leases and business sales)
• Wills, Powers of Attorney and Estate Planning
• Probate and Estate Administration

Kristen is also a member of the Consultative Appeals Committee of Girl Guides Tasmania, and a leader of a Girl Guides unit in Burnie. Her other interests include needlework and motor sports.
